The Hunters Ridge Four


    A few weeks ago I was asked to photograph a group of four high school seniors. They had know each other almost their entire life, lived on the same street and spent numerous hours together getting into trouble. The moms wanted to honor the friendship and save the memories before they all scattered to the four winds. I have to say some child/parent dynamics never change and there was some donut bribery happening in the background if they all behaved! Last night the Fearsome Foursome from Hunters Ridge graduated from QACHS – Congrats to you all!!!

Bring On Some Competition – 2013 Hurricane Bucs!!

A few weeks ago the manager for the Hurricane Bucs came up to me and asked if I’d be interested in photographing the team. Now let’s step back for a moment.  Me: the tomboy who was the only girl on the baseball team for two years, got her first shiner by catching the ball with her eye instead of her glove (the second came from a boy in a pick up football game who well… didn’t like the fact I tackled him… shhhh don’t tell mom!!) and who’s father does a whole pitchers and catchers ritual every February.
